1. General Information
Frau Steiner Studio is a creative studio based in Belgium, specializing in risograph printing services, handmade stationery, graphic design, and artistic works by Meriem Steiner. Our services are available to individuals, businesses, and organizations seeking creative, high-quality, and unique designs and products.
2. Services Offered
Frau Steiner Studio offers the following services and products:
- Risograph Printing Service: High-quality, eco-friendly printing using the risograph technique for custom designs, artwork, and printed materials.
- Stationery Shop: Unique, handcrafted stationery products, including custom-designed paper, cards, and prints, created through risograph printing.
- Workshops: Risography workshops for all levels, from two-hour Discovery sessions to multi-week Masterclasses and one-on-one studio sessions.
- Meriem Steiner’s Art: Original works of art by Meriem Steiner, including limited edition prints, wallpapers, and other artistic creations.
3. Orders and Pricing
- Risograph Printing Service: Prices for printing services are determined based on the complexity of the project, the number of copies, and the type of paper used. A detailed quote will be provided before production begins.
- Stationery Shop: The prices for stationery products are listed on the online store. Prices may vary depending on the product’s design, size, and materials.
- Workshops: Discovery workshops are offered at a fixed price per person. Masterclasses and one-on-one sessions are priced based on the format and will be confirmed with you before booking.
- Meriem Steiner’s Art: Prices for artworks by Meriem Steiner will be clearly stated upon request. Artworks are sold as limited editions or originals.
All prices are inclusive of VAT for customers within Belgium. For international customers, VAT may be applicable depending on local regulations.
4. Payment
- Payment for all services and products must be made before the completion or delivery of the work unless otherwise agreed upon.
- At this time, online payment is not yet available directly through the website. To place an order, please contact us directly — we will send you a quote and payment instructions (bank transfer).
- Payments for custom orders or design services may require a deposit (usually 30-50%) before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion or delivery.
5. Delivery & Shipping
- Risograph Printing & Stationery: Orders will be processed and shipped within 7 working days after we confirm your order and payment. Delivery times depend on the shipping method agreed with you.
- International Shipping: For orders outside Belgium, additional shipping charges may apply, and delivery times may vary.
- Workshops: Session dates and times are confirmed at the time of booking. See Section 10 for workshop-specific terms.
We are not responsible for any delays or damages caused by third-party couriers or shipping services.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
- Stationery & Art Products: Due to the nature of our handmade products, we do not accept returns unless the item is defective or damaged. If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the item, along with your proof of purchase and a photo of the issue, for a return or exchange. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging.
- Custom Orders & Services: Custom designs, risograph prints, and graphic design services are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a project is canceled before production begins, a partial refund may apply based on work completed up to that point.
- Refunds: Once we’ve received and inspected a returned item, we’ll email you to confirm whether it’s approved. Approved refunds are processed to your original method of payment — please allow a few business days for it to appear, as banks and card providers can take some time to post it.
7. Intellectual Property
- Risograph Prints, Stationery, and Designs: All designs, artwork, and content created by Frau Steiner Studio or Meriem Steiner remain the intellectual property of the creator, unless otherwise agreed. Any use of these materials without prior written consent is prohibited.
- Custom Designs: For custom graphic design services, intellectual property rights will be transferred to the client upon full payment, unless otherwise stated in a separate contract.
- Artworks by Meriem Steiner: All artworks by Meriem Steiner are copyrighted and may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without prior permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Frau Steiner Studio is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of our products or services, including but not limited to, any damage caused by errors in printing, design, or shipping. We make every effort to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction, but we cannot be held responsible for issues outside of our control.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required for processing orders and providing services.
10. Workshops and Events
For workshops and events organized by Frau Steiner Studio, participants must agree to the following:
- Registratie: Full payment is required to reserve a spot in a Discovery workshop, a Masterclass cycle, or a one-on-one session.
- Cancellations: For Discovery workshops and one-on-one sessions, cancellations made at least 48 hours before the session will receive a full refund; after this period, refunds may not be possible. For Masterclasses, since each cycle is booked as a full course for a small group, cancellations made at least 7 days before the first session will receive a full refund; once a cycle has started, sessions are non-refundable.
- Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to the studio’s guidelines and instructions for safety and respect towards others during workshops or events.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes or claims related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Belgium.
